📸 Your photos

When you upload photos of your pet, they are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection directly to our secure servers. We use 256-bit AES encryption for storage.

• Photos are used only to train your personal AI model
• Never viewed by employees except to investigate a reported technical issue, with your explicit permission
• Never used to train shared or public AI systems
• Never sold, licensed, or shared with any third party
• Automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after your portraits are delivered

🧠 Your pet's AI model

We train a personal AI model — called a LoRA — that captures the unique appearance of your pet. This model is private to you.

• Your AI model is stored under your unique job ID — no one else can access it
• Standard plan: model is deleted after portrait delivery
• Premium plan: model is saved for 1 year, then deleted
• Subscribe plan: model is saved indefinitely while your subscription is active
• Your model is never shared, licensed, or merged into public AI systems

🖼️ Your portraits

Your finished portraits are stored in a private gallery accessible only via your unique job link. We don't require an account — your link is your key.

• Portraits are accessible only via your private link — not indexed or publicly searchable
• Links use cryptographically random IDs — they cannot be guessed
• We do not display your portraits publicly or use them in marketing without explicit written consent
• Portraits are stored for at least 90 days from delivery

🚫 What we never do

• Never sell your photos, AI model, or portraits to data brokers or third parties
• Never use your pet's photos to train shared or public AI models
• Never share your data with advertisers
• Never display your portraits publicly without your consent
• Never require you to create an account or provide more data than needed
• Never retain your original photos longer than 30 days after delivery

🔗 Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate Paw Portrait:

• fal.ai — runs the AI training and image generation. Your photos are sent to their secure servers under a data processing agreement that prohibits them from using your data for any purpose other than your job.
• Cloud storage — your uploads and portraits are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access restricted to your job ID.
• Payment processing — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics that share data with third parties.

🗑️ Deleting your data

You can request full deletion of all your data at any time — photos, AI model, and portraits. We will confirm deletion within 24 hours.

• We will delete all associated data within 24 hours
• You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete
• Deletion is permanent and irreversible
